Last week I spent two days in Sweden, two days in Barcelona and three days in lovely Sevilla!
It was the first time I finally made it down to the south to explore the city and its soul, and of course as always, a lovely hotel!
In a city that is very “pueblo”, to be the fourth city of Spain, I was surprised to find such a cosmpolitan hotel and atmosphere in EME HOTEL! I highly recommend a stay there, and please dont miss out to try their lovely tapas bar, Milagritos, with king size portions, and then the sophisticated gourmet restaurant, SANTO, where price awarded chef Martín Berasategui is composing the menus!
The ambience, the decoration, the music compilations, the lovely roof terrace overlooking La Giralda (the third biggest cathedral in the world after St Peters Church in Rome and Sankt Paul’s in London) – everything is very well thought through and beautiful! BUT you have to be prepared for another tempo….stress down and be ready to wait for your mojito at least 45 min….ufff…
In Sevilla I also met up with my dear old friend Xavier with whom I once shared flat with in Barcelona for over two years! We were talking about funny memories from the past and also about business as he is also dedicated to incentive travel receiving groups (mainly french as he is “un Parisien) to Sevilla! He is as passionate about his new home town as I am about my Barcelona which adds the heart and that extra sparkle in our work when sharing with people from abroad!
By the way, in Sevilla everything is about flamenco – get the point?
The social life is in the streets and people are enjoying themselves listening to “Tunas” while eating and drinking and chatting!
