I was born in Sweden in the happy sixties and was brought up as single daughter to a very proud mother who at a very early stage transmitted to me to listen to my heart and be alert where it wanted to take me, and to follow this path with the maximum of determination!
My strong gut instinct has taken me around the globe and also served as a good arm when creating different kind of projects! My path has been far away from straight through life, I have fallen over some times, and through falling is how I have learnt not to fall over again. There are no failures, only new decisions, and I have dared to make alot of brave decisions that has lead to where I stand today. And since the day I can remember I have been convinced that you can do and become anything you want if you want and care enough about it, and I believe that until this very day!
I started my career in the travel industry over 20 years ago working myself up through various key positions in both small and big important companies, but not until I moved to Spain in 2001 I found my true flow here down by the Mediterranean. Creating a platform from scratch persuing my dreams I found myself doing what I love most of all, to create things with a sense to make the world a more fun and enjoyable place to live in! The truth is that to be an entrepreneur is not a work positition, it is a mental attitude on how to transform the future.
In 2003 I started my first own company, Performance Barcelona, which is a destination management company with focus on high end incoming incentive company travel to Barcelona with region. 2008 I upgraded the company to become licenced travel agency including outgoing company travel worldwide to its services, the name Performance Prime Cities was created as an umbrella for future offices in prime cities worldwide. The concept of Performance New York was also born in 2008 with special focus on this another favorite city of mine, the Capital of the World. Performance is currently in development through franchising with the vision of becoming a trademark for high end city destination management globally.
In the year of 2010 I decided to embark on a new adventure in the world of decoration through the new high touch decoration concept www.themurolab.com which were created together with three other business partners! The idea was clear and concise from the very start: the creation of high-quality canvases intended exclusively for decoration purposes, leaving the concept of art to one side and ensuring that the product is affordable for all. By working with artists that remain anonymous and instead sell a unique piece with the trademark of themurolab on we have made art democratic and accessible for everyone!
If my blog can contribute to inspire one single person to persue their dreams, to follow their heart and dare to take the uncertain before the certain, then I have fulfilled my wish by sharing a piece of my lifestile here in my city of dreams – Barcelona!

Jessika, cuanta razón tienes: si realmente deseas algo – lo consigues. Pero a veces tienes que perder algo sin decir mucho para conseguir tu sueño. Aquí esta el kit de la questión , el equilibrio: si ganas – pierdes, si pierdes ganas, nada es absoluto ni perfecto.
